The "Folklore Evening"

Second year students of the Master of Science program, the Public Relations and Journalism branch organized a folk evening at the premises of the Bedër College College library. In the framework of the awareness campaign "Ruaj traditën, festo shqip", the event consisted of an evening dedicated to Albanian folk songs and dances.

Invited to the meeting were the Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences Prof. dr. Dr. Rahim Ombashi as well as the well-known writer and pedagogue Prof. Dr. Agron Tufa, who referred to a variety of information and curiosity about the roots of Albanian folklore.

"Folklore is a spiritual past that we do not buy and we can not return, but we take it and translate it into values that characterize and distinguish us from others. Art has only one price - the spiritual values we have much need ", said Prof. Dr. Ombashi.

While Prof. Dr. Tufa said: "The popularity of popular folk songs and forms of popular creativity undoubtedly constitute a seal of identity for everyone."

At the end of the meeting students had the opportunity to remind some of the old Albanian songs through reading and singing.
