Description | The history of Albania addresses to historical events and phenomena ranging from prehistory up to nowadays. This course enables students to recognize the history of Albanian nation from ancient times until nowadays.The academic content of this course focuses on a range of periodsthe Independence, Communist and modern periods. | |||||||
Objectives | At the end of the course students should be able: -To get acquainted with the history of Albanian nation through events and facts examined during this program -To be open minded about different point of views of historical developments of certain periods being discussed on the basis of scientific arguments. -To understand the major historical events -To determine the criteria and characteristics of each period and establish a fairer proportion between political, social aspects, on the one hand, and economic, cultural aspects on the other hand. At the end of the program students should be able: - Identify the decisions taken at various conferences at the expense of our country. -to understand the sacrifices that albanian nation did in order to protect and preserve its lands - To assess the role of Albanian patriots ,analyzing their operations to save their country -Analyze through projects, thematic reviews trying to understand the characteristics of early civilizations in our country. | |||||||
