Administrator of Foundation Down Syndrome Albania, Emanuela Pepkola, was invited to an open lecture with master students of Communication Sciences program, where conversation was primarily focused on managing a marketing campaign.
Ms. Pepkola shared with students her experience in setting up a foundation that she currently runs, starting from the brainstorming process, difficulties in the use of networks, organization of events, communication and support by the media as well as other elements used to achieve success.
Asked whether it would have had the same result if her initiative would represent another cause Emanuela replied that difficulties would be numerous. That because issues such as children with Down syndrome are issues that arise emotion and reaction to the public, in any form of it. And that was exactly what guaranteed success in creating the Foundation Down Syndrome Albania and should be noted that everything in this campaign is achieved only by the contribution and volunteerism of individuals and different entities.
Another important part of this meeting were discussions and suggestions that Emanuela gave to communication students about the campaign that they have currently undertaken, which consists in enriching the library of Bedër University with 5000 new titles.
The conversation continued with questions from students who showed interest in various processes including marketing campaigns in Albania and beyond.
