The Department of Communication Sciences in cooperation with the Office of Graduates organized, "Bedër Communication Sciences Reunion", a meeting that brought together all the graduates of this department since 2014.
This meeting served to reunite graduates in Communication Sciences in order to share their experiences by influencing the expansion of the network and the creation of facilities in the labor market.
Present at this meeting were the Rector of the "Bedër" University College Prof. dr. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, dean of the Faculty of Humanities Prof. Dr. Assoc. Dr. Rahim Ombashi, and Head of Communication Sciences Department. Erlis Cela, who greeted and thanked the former students for their presence at this meeting.
The activity continued with conversations and meetings between students, who recalled each other their experience during university studies at Bedër, as well as post-graduate life talking about the professional career they started
The cycle of seminars "Student and Careers" is restored, organized by the Department of Communication Sciences at K.U. Badr.
Invited to this first seminar held at the premises of the media museum at our institution, was the renowned journalist of DW Deutsche Welle, Mimoza Çika Kelmendi, accompanied by Mr. Aleksandar Çipa, President of the Union of Albanian Journalists and the Head of the Department of Education Sciences, Mr.Erlis Çela.
Facing the students of this department, Mimoza referred to the theme "Public Media, European Models and the Albanian Crisis" bringing her several years of experience in the international media market and turning this seminar into an interactive conversation with multiple questions from students.
First year students in communication sciences visited the Vizion + television venues, where they were received by the news editor in this telvizion, Roland Zili.
During the visit, students were closely acquainted with the television, the structure and manner of its functioning, as well as the practices of journalists. Mr. Rolanda Zili introduced the students with the way of organizing the newsroom in Vizion + and the challenges faced by field journalists every day.
The students of the Department of Communication Sciences conducted an online media training. The training developed by pedagogue Emirjon Senja consisted of sources of online media information, the report that should be with the news, as well as the necessity of melting information between photos, videos and infographics.
Students were also introduced to the newest online monetization methods from online platforms. Through the continuation of the academic year, students will have the opportunity to practice them in the departmental department, "Objektiv.al"
On this portal students have the opportunity to contribute with different materials by rubrics; reality, social, reportage, dossier, technology, region, portrait, interview, sports, media, culture, literature, life style etc.
The University College Bedër organized today a meeting with students of communication and justice, welcomed by the Rector of K.U. Bedër Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, lecturers and a part of the administrative staff.
During this meeting, the master students were briefed about the staff of the respective departments and the administrative offices with which they would have continuous contact during the course of their studies.
Present at this meeting and part of the student greetings were the Rector of Bedër University College, Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Gjana, Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences Prof. dr. Assoc. Dr. Rahim Ombashi, Head of Communications Department, Dr. Erlis Çela, lecturer and administrative staff from the Department of Justice and Communication.
The meeting continued with a cocktail organized in the Bible School environment, under a friendly atmosphere between students and teachers.
The first year students of communications sciences visited the Radio Spectrum facilities.
Accompanied by the deputy of the Faculty of Humanities Dr.Ramadan Çipuri, the students in the meeting with the Director of Radio and Public Relations Office, Mr. Agron Hoxha, and with radio journalists, were closely acquainted with the process of working and functioning of a radio, editorial staff, journalists' work, challenges they face, etc.
This visit is the scene of other similar visits to television and media across the country over the next few weeks, so that students know better, train and understand the functioning of what they learn from university auditors in the realization real.
The tradition of MarCom's seminar organized by the Department of Communication Sciences at Bedër University College this academic year opened its curtain by welcoming the well-known blogger Mr. Olti Curri.
The theme that Olti refused in this seminar was "Engaging Audiences in Digital Marketing". Conversation with students focused on the methods used in digital marketing to attract and retain audiences from social media, portals, bloggers, and various characters.
Topics covered during the conversation, multiple questions from students included ongoing changes in social networks, recent trends, how to manage profiles and social networking pages to provide as many clicks and followers as possible, the influence the virtual world has on the new generation today as in behavioral behavior, the consequences of using the Albanian language, the risk of misinformation messages on Facebook and the need to be young people who run their lives rather than examples on social networks or the virtual world, social importance for the development of today's youth and the influence they can have on structuring the country's future
As a collaboration between the Department of Communication Sciences at the University " Hëna e Plotë” Bedër and Risi Albania project, for two days, during December 6-7, it was organized a professional training aiming to equip the future journalists with the specific skills of effective and attractive reporting methods on the labour market in Albania.
The training was organized in four modules that addressed topics closely related to today's reality of the need of the public and audience for more interesting and valuable information on labour market, the need of media to generate audience and revenue and the need of business to obtaing skilled and appropriate workforce.
The training provided by Dr. Pandeli Pani, professor at several European universities, was interesting for the participating students as it combined very well the theoretical information on the reporting methods, the benefit of the media, audience and business, successful Western and regional models as well as actual experiences from the Albanian market, with the practical work of students through group exercises associated with finding a topic, select the method (genre) of handling it, finding the resources to deepen the topic, in addition to the analysis of various aspects of reporting.
This training represents only the beginning of a continuous project, which will continue with various practices for the students in this regard as well as with the inclusion of these modules in the department curriculla.
