Center Administrator, Mr.Agron Hoxha, during the presentation emphasized that the activity, planned along the academic year 2014-2015 will enable to students of Communication Sciences numerous professional practices, as well as various trainings. According to Mr. Hoxha, constituent units of Media and Communication Center are Radio Spektrum, Objektiv.al portal, ‘’Objektiv’’ magazine, Gazetastart.com and the television studio which is under construction. In the center there are two newsrooms that students can use as well as a seminar room equipped with all the necessary technological equipment for trainings in various forms. Another important element which students can use is audio video editing part, where students can learn these techniques, and also to practice them. Some of the trainings that will take place during this academic year are: The art of communication - diction The usage of camera techniques The art of photography Radio Techniques Television Techniques Writing and reporting news Audio and video montage An important place, in the activity of media center will be given to workshops which are intended to be organized in collaboration with the Department of Communication Sciences, with specified topics on the development of sports journalism, new media, practices of foreign correspondent etc. 24NOV Fisnik Ismaili: Only 2000 Euro reduced 20 % of Serbian goods import in Kosovo Only 2000 Euro sufficed to reduce by over 20 per cent the import of Serbian goods in Kosovo. This was what Fisnik Ismaili, director of marketing company ‘’Karrota’’ and MP of the Republic of Kosovo said to students of the Department of Communication Sciences, while explaining contemporary methods of marketing. Invited within the cycle of seminars Marcom, Mr. Ismaili presented his experiences starting from the first project, a poster for Apple and then added that in marketing you are worth as your last project, but in fact he is always in demand to work harder so as to be affirmed as a big creative director in this area. An important part of this presentation were the works, which he described as projects with a particular emotional connection. Among the works mentioned was the poster '' Nato just do it ''. This poster was conducted a year before the Nato intervention in Kosovo and was distributed for the press coverage serving as a lobby to liberate Kosovo. Another project that z.Ismaili presented was ‘’Newborn '' which he explained that was written in English in order to be distributed and understood in the international stage. He also explained the efforts for winning the local elections in Kosovo in terms of marketing, providing a practicalexplanation of the topic. Fisnik Ismaili has won seven international awards including '' Cannes Lion '', '' Golder Drum ', Eurobest etc. To live within marketing by Fisnik Ismaili l means to love this profession where the driving force is the impact that this work has in public. 24NOV "The book is the only garden planted for others" campaign is officially opened The opening ceremony of "The book is the only garden planted for others" campaign organized at Bedër University brought together numerous publishing houses, journalists, authors, and a significant number of students and guests. Under the moderation of News 24 journalist Anisa Ymeri, the honor guest Ana Kove, writer, Fisnik Ismaili, Deputy of the Republic of Kosovo and Prof. Assoc. Dr. Rahim Ombashi welcomed the work of the campaign which is undertaken by students of Bedër and also encouraged and expressed their support in the next steps of this initiative. An important moment of the event was the donation of 220 books by the participants, bringing the number of total donated books, from the beginning of the campaign, to 1047. The campaign will continue its activity for the next 3 months which aims to achieve a total of 5000 titles of donated books. Every contribution is worth! 18NOV MarCom Seminars: Presentation of DDB Albania & Montenegro Within the cycle of seminars "Marcom Seminars" the advertising agency DDB Albania & Montenegro presented its activity to Bedër University students. Juela Isaj, agency administrator, presented the structure, processes and functioning of DDB Albania & Montenegro. She shared her professional experience by providing a practical presentation of the topic. At the same time, Ms. Isaj talked about professions that may be part of an advertising agency, but also the trends which are expected in the coming years, as an orientation for students who aspire to become part of advertising agencies staff. Students watched advertising examples from this company as well as learned about their manner of implementation. DDB advertising agency is the most awards receiving company at global level. 18NOV Readings under Full Moon launched with Luljeta Lleshanaku Being Abaz Kupi’s niece has been a boost to my creativity. This is what the known Albanian poet Luljeta Lleshanaku said. She was invited to the cycle of programs "readings under Hëna e Plotë (Full moon) ", organized by the Department of Communication Sciences. Mrs. Lleshanaku said that background from her mother and her father, such being the niece of Abaz Kupi and Alush Lleshanaku, two known names of persecuted people under Communist regime, has been a source of inspiration for her creativity. "I never asked my teachers which were the reasons that they constantly used to insult my family," said Lleshanaku. The poetic evening was accompanied by poetry analysis of Mrs.Lleshanaku, as well as interpretation by famous writer Agron Tufa and students of the Department of Communication Sciences. Mrs. Lleshanaku was the first that opened the series of author readings with poets, prose writers, translators and Albanian culture personalities at Hëna e Plotë Bedër University. This cycle of programs is moderated by the well-known writer, at the same time lecturer of the Department of Communication Sciences, Prof.Agron Tufa. 13NOV MarCom Seminars: McCann Tirana presents its activity Within the cycle of seminars "Marcom Seminars" advertising agency "McCann Tirana" was presented to Bedër students with the reference topic "Creativity in product advertising process - brainstorming, storyboard". Ivica Spasovksi and Suela Shtylla, the agency representatives presented their activity and focused on the process of creativity. They shared their experiences, spoke about the requirements of clients, and the most important points that agency consider in its advantage. Asked about elements which help the agency to succeed, Mr. Spasovski answered that experience and research. This advertising agency is a chain of agencies operating in different countries in the world. According to him, the fact of being representatives of a such agency increases the responsibility in service delivery. Agency McCann Tirana won the Silver Drum prize in the Golden Drum Festival with "Respect the Living" project, which makes it the first agency from Albania to win a prize in the international arena. 11NOV Pandi Gjata: Ethics, as a condition for a good journalism Mr. Pandi Gjata, editor in chief at Top Channel TV was the next guest in the cycle of seminars "Student and Profession". In an open conversation with students, Mr. Gjata talked about the first steps in his career and challenges faced in the profession of journalism. According to Mr. Gjata, a good general culture for a journalist is very important because it can be very helpful while having unexpected situations. Further, he added that there is always space for new entries in the newsroom, especially those journalists who have passion and desire for work. Asked about ethics, Mr. Gjata said that often there are cases where it is difficult to decide, since respect of ethics depends also on conditions. He said that there are many elements and factors that do not allow journalists to maintain ethics in detail, mentioning the lack of physical time and also technical conditions, but stressed that journalists always strive for the best. 04NOV Abilekaj: Politics and advertisers, the two challenges of Albanian journalism Political pressure and that of advertisers are two of main challenges for Albanian journalists. Mr. Enton Abilekaj, Information Director at News 24 TV, gave his speech to the students of the Department of Communication Sciences. Mr Alibekaj, who was invited to the cycle of seminars named "Student and Profession" discussed about the conditions under which Albanian televisions operate, as well as the pressures exerted by different factors for the transmission of information. According to him, politics and advertisers are those who exert greater pressure on information as a media product. He replied to the questions of students about the concealment of truth in circumstances where the virtual dominates, that "In these conditions, concealment of truth is impossible. Even if the editor, information director or media owner does not want the publication of certain information, hiding it is impossible. Journalist himself through his personal blog or opportunities that virtuality provides can make it public, and that in a very short time spreads in everywhere’’.
